"Discovering the power of healing from childhood trauma through the writing of poetry."

Several of the poems were written during my healing journey from childhood trauma. Many were read in therapy sessions to help me process the memories and trauma while undergoing EMDR therapy. This book was created to help others through their journey but is also a great book for mental health providers, social service workers, poetry lovers, non-fiction book lovers, and anyone that has a passion for books that demonstrate strength and resilience.
